We're all searching for some kind of beauty, some kind of passion to pour our hearts, our energy, and our souls in to. Nick Maimone has found this in photography. It is truly amazing when someone can find beauty in a can of coins, can portray a city night scene flawlessly, and continues to improve with each photo. Nick has taken classes at the University of Arts in Philedelphia. This summer he will be taking additional classes at the Darkroom Studios. But personally, what I find most intruiging about his photography is that he has not been studying and training all his life. He has taught himself and been fueled by his passion and interest at such a demanding art. It seems very promising when a person of such a young age can create so much beauty and emotion and intelligance, all in a photograph. In the future, Nick plans to continue with his photography. He is in the process of being accepted into irisscience, an online community of photographers. His constant improvements are astounding, and I strongly believe his talent will take him very far in life. He continues to impress his friends, loved ones, and teachers, and I am confident that this gifted young artist has a promising future. -C.B.
